One of 6 patterns included in the Handsome: Man Sweaters for Every Body ebook.

Kale is a zip-front jogger worked in a textured herringbone stitch pattern that creates a firm fabric perfect for cooler weather. The funnel neck is lined with soft merino, and the cuffs can be made with or without thumbholes. The herringbone fabric drapes nicely without clinging, and the generous sleeve width allows for comfortable layering. Kale is suitable for advanced intermediate knitters.

Kale is written for 8 sizes, ranging from 34” to 62” finished chest circumference, and includes options for narrow/average or broad shoulders. Knitters can also choose to knit either standard ribbed cuffs or extra-long ribbed cuffs with thumbholes. Like all 6 designs in the Handsome ebook, Kale comes with free calculators to help customize your sweater’s fit, including sleeve length, body length, and body shaping (A-line, V-line, or X-line).
