Kale the Kelpie - 9 Page PDF

While a lake isn’t large, they still run dark and deep and they hide great secrets.
Hiding throughout the day the Kelpie or the Horse-eel awaits for night before leaving his watery depths. Under the moonlight his hide glistens in the starlight, attracting all manner of being to his side. Once there mesmerized the Kelpie lured those who ventured into his deep and dangerous home, never to be seen again.

Kale, once was no different, angered by his torture in a past life, hated anyone who came near… till he could fight no more. Ill of heart and vanquished he allowed the warm touch of man and his pain finally disappeared. It took time, but time well spent.
You still have to be weary when the moon is high that his instincts don’t tempt him again to do unspeakable things.
A horse is powerful and majestic and could never be tamed. Be silly to think you could a Kelpie.
