Inspiration and construction
The female first name Kalea means “happiness” and “full joy”. The name has a Hawaiian origin.

This will be a nice summer day, warm weather, it smells like holidays…on the way to the lake or to the beach you are wearing a simple but cool summer shirt over your Bikini. But also, with some chic trousers or a skirt this shirt can be worn in office. This was my design idea.
The structure is incredibly simple.

The instructions give sizes of 110-170cm chest circumference, but the shirt can easily be adjusted to the desired dimensions or different gauge. Information about this can also be found in the instructions.

Sizes
110, 120, 132, 142, 152, 162 and 170cm bust circumference at final shirt, which is intended to be worn with 15-30cm of positive ease.
My prototype has 20cm positive ease at a 90cm bust.

Yarn
Antigone from De Rerum Natura 260m per100g (100% linen)
For given sizes you will need approx.: 725, 780, 850, 906, 964, 1021 and 1080m of Antigone.
My color was Lune.

Needle / hook
3mm (US 2 ½) cable needle 80cm – or a needle which gives you the required gauge
2,75mm (US2) cable needle 80cm or a one size smaller one then main needle for the hem.

Cable or waste yarn to put stitches on hold
5 stitch marker one different for BOR
1 additional cable needle of smaller size for double knitted hem

Gauge
20 stitches giving 10cm (4”) knitted in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. Row gauge is her enot impoartant, you will knit to certain measurements.

Inspiration und Aufbau
Der weibliche Vorname Kalea bedeutet übersetzt „das Glück“ und „die volle Freude“. Der Name hat eine hawaiianische Herkunft.

Ein Sommertag steht bevor, die Luft ist wohlig warm, es riecht nach Sommer…also rein in ein kühles Sommershirt über Bikini oder Shorts und auf zum Badesee. Aber auch zur Stoffhose im Office tragbar, das war mein Wunsch. Ein Shirt das locker sitzt und auch an warmen Tagen gut tragbar ist.
Der Aufbau ist denkbar einfach.
In der Anleitung sind Größenangaben von 110-170cm Brustumfang angegeben aber das Shirt kann ganz einfach auf gewünschte Maße oder auch Maschenprobe angepasst werden. Angaben dazu finden sich auch in der Anleitung.

Größe
110, 120, 132, 142, 152, 162 und 170cm Brustumfang am fertigen Strickstück. Das Shirt ist gedacht mit 15 bis 30 cm Bequemlichkeitszugabe zu tragen.
Der Prototyp ist mit 20cm Bequemlichkeitzugabe in der Antigone Farbe Lune an 90cm Brustumfang dargestellt.

Garn
Antigone von De Rerum Natura 260m auf 100g (100% Leinen)
Für die hier angegebenen Größen werden ca. 725, 780, 850, 906, 964, 1021 und 1080m benötigt. Mein Prototyp wurde mit der Farbe Lune gestrickt.

Nadel
3mm (US 2 ½) Rundstricknadel 80cm – oder eine Nadelstärke mit der Du die Maschenprobe erreichst, je nach Garn kann das stark abweichen.
2,75mm (US2) Rundstricknadel 80cm für das Bündchen

5 Maschenmarker für den Rundenbeginn und Abnahmen
1 weitere Rundstricknadel, ggf. 1 Größe kleiner für das doppelte Bündchen

Maschenprobe
20M = 10cm mit 3mm Nadel in glatt Rechts nach dem Waschen und Spannen. Die Reihen sind hier nicht wichtig, es wird jeweils bis zu einem bestimmten Maß gestrickt.
