This piece starts off with the usual magic circle and a square which then morphs into an amigurumi technique so that there are no join lines or stepped transitions from one row to the next.

The twisting illusion is created by moving the corner anti clockwise by one stitch each round.
It is a very easy pattern requiring no specialist knowledge.
