Kaleidoscope Blanket
Twist the dial and watch the colors fall into place - there’s all sorts of gorgeous patterns just waiting to be created!
The Kaleidoscope Blanket was designed with the help of the Crochet With Rachy Facebook group. Group members shared ideas, input, and suggestions on what each square should look like and I used the feedback to create 12 unique square patterns!
Head on over to the Facebook group to get all twelve squares! Blocking, seaming, and finishing information will drop August 1st.

How to get the pattern
For a limited time, the pattern for each square is available for free in the Facebook group. If you’re just joining along, the pinned post in the group has all the info, including links to the square instructions.
A PDF of each square will be shared on Patreon with all patrons as well as to anyone who purchases a kit from MollyGirl Yarn. You can also purchase the pattern on Payhip. 100% of all purchases on Payhip are being donated to the Loveland Foundation and Planned Parenthood, with funds being split equally between the two.
The yarn
There will be 12 squares in total, with each square calling for approximately 107yds/98m/50g. Mix and match colors, go stash busting, adjust the weight - it’s up to you! The extras of each color will be used to seam the blanket.
If you want kits, MollyGirl Yarn has kits in both Rockstar and Unplugged! Rockstar is a super soft superwash merino for an ultra cozy and washable blanket. Unplugged is a rugged classic wool, for an affordable blanket that’ll stand up amazingly to extended use.
$2 from each kit will be donated, with the profits split equally between the Loveland Foundation and Planned Parenthood.
Screen Reader Compatibility
The pattern pdf is designed to be screen reader compatible. The text is all in one column and headers are formatted according to the style sheet. The pattern is written out and the images have descriptive alt text. Please note that the pattern has nested repeats, which may make it more challenging to follow with a screen reader.
The pattern is available in PDF form to patrons and those who purchase kits. Group members and newsletter subscribers will receive the pattern in text form, which may impact its compatibility with screen readers. Low vision and blind crocheters who run into issues with the newsletter and Facebook can email me to receive a PDF at no cost.
