When I look at a gorgeous skein of variegated yarn, after wiping the drool from my chin, I always wonder how I could possibly work this into a project I will love. This shawl turns that unruly colorway into a kaleidoscope of color, using lace on both sides to break up variegation and a braided border between mesh sections for interest. Use a random number generator or a D20 to decide how many repeats of mesh to do between plaits, and top it off with a funky spiked border!

Recommended Yarn Requirements
Weight | Number of Skeins

I don't recommend using heavier than worsted weight.
