The pattern for Kalinda includes instructions to knit a sleeveless top or a long sleeves sweater.

Both versions are knit from the top-down, starting with the back to the underarm, stitches are then picked up to knit the front and finally the stiches are joined to knit the body in the round. The body is straight, there are no shaping. Stitches are picked up at the end to knit the collar.

Both versions feature a beautiful but easy ‘feather and fan’ stitch pattern framing the sides.

You will need:

Sleeveless top: approximately 585 (643, 695, 758, 873, 973, 1100, 1283) metres / 640 (703, 760, 829, 955, 1064, 1203, 1403) yards of fingering yarn

Tapestry needle, 5 stitch markers, 2 stitch markers that you can hook (like safety pins) and waste yarn (to put stitches on hold)

SIZES

XS (S, M, L1, L2, XL, 2XL, 3XL) approx. 86 (91.5, 96.5, 101.5, 112, 122, 132, 142) cm / 34 (36, 38, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56) inches of finished circumference at the bust.

Choose a size with 5 to 15 cm / 2 to 6 inches of positive ease. Pattern includes a drawing and table to help determine a size.

Ce patron donne des instructions pour tricoter un pull sans manches ou à manche longues.

Les deux versions sont tricotées du haut vers le bas, en commençant avec le dos jusqu’aux aiselles, ensuite des mailles sont relevées pour tricoter le devant. Les mailles sont ensuite réunies pour tricoter le corps en circulaire. Le corps est tricoté droit. Des mailles sont relevées à la fin pour tricoter l’encolure.

Les deux versions ont un joli point de dentelle qui est aussi très facile à réaliser des deux côtés du corps.
