Description
Kallio is an Aran weight sweater with mock cables and lace details on a reversed stockinette fabric. The sweater is knit in the round from the bottom-up, then worked flat for the upper body and seamed together at the shoulders before the sleeves are attached.

Approximately 749 (813, 886, 959, 1016) (1102, 1182, 1272, 1346) meters / 819 (889, 969, 1049, 1112) (1206, 1293, 1392, 1473) yards of Aran weight yarn.
Or approximately 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) (7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Aran weight yarn at 166 meters per 100 grams.
Sample uses Olann BFL Aran in colorway Dusk.

Smaller needles: 4.5 mm / US 7, or 0.5 mm / 1 US sizes smaller than the larger needle. Cord length is knitters preference, but keep the following in mind:
