The Kamakura pin cushion is based on a travel story to Kamakura in Japan. It was the third chapter of my book Journey and Crochet Journey. The books are retiring soon; therefore, the patterns are also available individually as a download.

Yarn requirements for this pattern:
Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat comes in balls of 25 grams with a length of 153 yards of yarn. The yarn consists out of 100% mercerized cotton.
1 ball of Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 110 Jet Black ( Color A)
1 ball of Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 390 Poppy Rose ( Color B)
1 ball of Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 115 Hot Red (Color C)
1 ball of Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 517 Rugby (Color D)
Crochet hook(s) needed: 1.75 mm crochet hook
Size: The pincushion size will be approx. 4 inches from side to side.
Other materials needed: 10-15 grams fiberfill. One small iron button of choice ( with a diameter of approx. 5/16 inch)
The pattern contains written instructions guided by a chart. It is available in English (US terms) and Dutch. After purchase, you can download a PDF file in your preferred language.
