Kameron Slouch Hat
A free version is also available.
Kameron is a fun unisex slouch hat that is best made with a full bodied #4 Aran weight yarn that has nice drape to it. For the hat pictured I used Caron Pantone, which is categorized as a #5 bulky, however, I found this yarn to be very soft and flexible and worked up more like a Aran weight #4 yarn. The hat is worked in joined rounds, meaning you will slip stitch at the end of each round and begin a new round by chaining a specified amount. Increases are worked in a nontraditional manner where you will use both the post and the top of the stitch, there I go thinking outside the box again!
