Sunflowers were the popular suggestion for Kansas, followed by the Flint Hills, farm life, and the Wizard of Oz. These socks are worked flat instep to the top of the foot bend, then in the round through the cuff. The sole is added last and is worked in the round.

Needles:
Size US 1 (2.25 mm), or size needed for gauge, straight, circular, or double pointed needles. A 16” / 40cm circular needle in gauge size is recommended for the sole. I used a 32” circular needle using the Magic Loop method in lieu of the 16” needle.

Yarn needle, 8 removable stitch markers, small crochet hook and waste yarn for provisional cast on
