Karen Women's Striped Pullover
This pullover has elegant raglan sleeves, ridged edges, and colour work that is enhanced by texture. It’s an easy knit, given that it’s just knit and purl. In the body and sleeves, the smooth and multicolour knit rows are recessed, whereas the textured black garter stitch stripes protrude. This keeps the bright colours subdued. Knit stitch columns set against a purl stitch background, achieve a contrasting texture in the fully black yoke. This contrast in texture and colour results in a graceful and body flattering sweater.
The pullover is knitted in the round from the bottom up. Body and sleeves are worked as separate tubes from the lower edge to the armholes. Then the pieces are joined and knitted in a tapered tube. This makes reading the charts easier, and there is only a small seam under the armhole to sew up after the knitting is complete. Waist and front neck shaping are added for a tailored fit. Together with the raglan shaping this gives the sweater good structure and stability to always make it hang straight.
For your convenience, there are separate instructions in an attractive layout for each size (36, 38, 40, 42, 44 and 46). So don’t be daunted by the number of pages in the PDF-file. There are only 6 for each size, including the photos. You may find my full descriptions easier to follow than the standard brief and cryptic ones.
The light knitted fabric in sock wool will keep you comfortably warm. For women who desire elegance in daily life.

I have received the pattern. I am really impressed: I have never got such an organised and clear pattern!
