A friend found vintage doll when sorting cupboards. Unfortunately the legs had rotted, body was fragile but arms and head still good. I could not leave dolly naked so made this to complement her pretty face. She needed her body well covered so I made with sleeves and high neck.

For ease of entry and removal for washing the back is open from waist up and closed simply with a yarn threaded through sides from the base. Button and loop closure may be added at neck if desired.
