This shawl is made of counterpane squares and triangles. Each counterpane is knitted in the round and when it is complete, live stitches are held on waste yarn. The pieces are grafted together with a kitchener stitch. A simple edging is added to finish the piece. This shawl will look beautiful in just about any type of lace-weight yarn.
