Karet-headband is worked in the round from the top down. First the front of the headband is shaped with short rows, then the body is worked and lastly some short rows are worked to shape the bottom.

Body finished circumference 37, 40, 43 cm/ 14.5, 15.75, 17 inches non stretched.

Yarn

20-25 (30-35) 40-45 g of dk or worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample (size M) was knitted with Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere, (100% Cashmere, 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g) in colourway Black and used 20 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
