Karkom Wristwarmers are worked flat, blocked to size and made up with a traditional mattress stitch seam on the underside. The pattern includes an extra 2 stitch allowance on either side to provide a neatly finished seam.

The pattern is worked from the bottom up. The loose cast-on and initial garter rows allow for stretch in the forearm. Final garter rows and suspended bind off allow for comfort across an opened hand. The increases and decreases in the motif provide the scalloped flair at the top and bottom, as well as the narrowing through the body of the cuffs.

Finished (unstretched) measurements after blocking: 9” top circumference; 7” wrist circumference; 8-1/2” forearm circumference; 8-1/2” long from cast-on edge to finished edge.
