The Karoo scarf/wrap is designed for a workshop at the Karoo Winter Wool Festival (2024) in South Africa. The workshop was presented by myself, Annamarie Esterhuizen.

The KWWF is an annual event in South Africa presenting mainly wool and natural fibers. Vendors also sell handmade products made out of natural fibers. All other nice events took place such as how to shave a sheep, fashion shows, ets.

The 2024 KWWF was presented for the 3rd year.

The wrap/scarf is a combination of Tunisian crochet and
conventional crochet.

You will do the Tunisian Simple Stitch (Tss) and Tunisian Eyelets with an interesting conventional crochet pattern in between.

The wool used is from my own company, Pianna Yarns. The composition of the wool is 75% Merino wool and 25% nylon.

Yarn: 300g x Pianna Yarns Sock Wool
Hook size: 6.5mm Tunisian hook, 3.75mm crochet hook and 5mm crochet hook
Wrap Size: 45cm wide x 150cm long AFTER blocking
