This is a crochet pattern to make a colorful flower throw pillow, inspired by traditional Kashubian folk embroidery.
Kashubia, a picturesque region in northern Poland, dotted with lakes, covered with woods and golden fields, reaching the Baltic Sea, has very strong traditions, regional embroidery style being just one of them. Traditional Kashubian embroidery uses 7 basic colors,
each of them has a meaning:
yellow: sun and fields, green: woods, black: soil, light blue: sky,
red: blood every Kashubian is ready to offer to defend fatherland,
navy blue: sea, cornflower blue: lakes.
Six of them are featured in this pattern.

The pattern includes both graphs and a row by row color stitch count for each of the panels.

Pattern is written in US terms, in ENGLISH ONLY. Finished measurement of the cushion: 40x45cm/18x16”
