This is a free pattern to create the Katamari Balls from the video game Katamari Damacy. This pattern is meant to be created with aran weight yarn or similar - it is not recommended to mix yarn weights.

This pattern is very simple and is ideal for beginning crocheters.

Materials:

• aran weight yarn in 4 colors
• 4.00mm crochet hook
• polyester fiberfill (polyfill)
• tapestry needle

Not mentioned in pattern: Small magnets can be added to the inside of the nubs (before stuffing) to create a magnetic effect. These can usually be purchased at most craft stores in the woodworking or clock-making sections.
