I’m very excited to present you my Wonderful Kate the Caterpillar!

When new Hobbii Toucan yarn came out, I knew I had to try to make a pattern with those beautiful colors that this yarn offers. And so I made Kate, 123cm long Caterpillar that will guard my little son in his bed while he sleeps. So whether you are looking for easy DIY Spring craft or a Amigurumi Gift for a kid, you are in the right place!

This Caterpillar is very easy to crochet. Head and body are being crocheted in one piece and the only things that need to be sew on are the feelers, feet and decorations. and as much as it might come as lots of work to sew the legs on, it’s actually very fast and easy process.

This pattern is classified as Easy, ADVANCED beginner friendly. But a confident Beginner with basic crochet skills could absolutely handle this project, as it’s mainly worked in rounds or simple chains. The pattern is FILLED with step by step pictures to help you along the way.

This crochet pattern is written is US ENGLISH terminology.
There are 2 kinds of pattern available. One filled with lots of step by step pictures and the other is printable, EKO friendly version, with only main picture attached.
Yarn used is Hobbii Toucan, 100% Polyester chenille yarn, in 5 colors, 1 skein from each color: Beige, Bubblegum, Sky Blue, Sage and Mustard

Size of the hook for the entire project is 5.5mm.
You will also need Polyester fiberfill for stuffing.
