This is The Potholder#1 Kate Dudman’s variation.

I have made descriptions for different crochet techniques. Kate rotated the pattern 45 degrees and filled the background with diagonal stitches. I have never filled the background like that, so my background is either a grid or filled with double crochets.

1) Interlocking filet crochet in the round
