Sweater designed for Katie who lives on a farm, featuring her own dog on the back. Knit any other name on the gate using the alphabet chart on p.107, adjusting the length of the fence if necessary, or omit the name and continue the line of the fence.
Sweater in Double Knit yarn knitted from a single rib mainly in stocking stitch, with set-in sleeve and a collar-effect neckline. Embroidery is added for details on the dog and sheep. The fence is knitted in dishcloth cotton for a firmer texture, and the clouds in fluffy baby yarn. The trees and clouds are in purl.
