Katie's Vest
The goal was to create a vest with arm scythes roomy enough to be worn with sweaters. However I additionally wanted the arm scythes carefully shaped and finished, so they have a fitted look even when worn just over a simple T-shirt.
There is a flexible shaping in the waist area achieved by switching to smaller needles and by adding extra ribbing in the back.
The vest could be knit monochrome or have added contrast colors.
The option of an afterthought hood is included in the instructions.
I-cord trimmings along the two front halves give a nice ridge running along the zipper. If buttons are preferred, simply knit I-Cord buttonhole loops.
