There are no gauge information as your tension will determine the final size. The best is to work tightly as the pattern will be the prettiest when there is no holes or gaps in the pattern. It should be a dense texture. Switch to a smaller needle when you feel your work is too loose.

The balls are an indication of the amount of colours or meters used, but it is also an ideal project for scrap yarn.
