3.5 mm US crochet hook
Safety eyes
Wire
Scrap yarn in white
Scrap yarn in yellow
Hot glue or fabric glue
Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet
ch: chain
ss: slip stitch
dec: invisible decrease
inc: increase
sp: space
blo: back loop only
fsc: foundation single crochet
gauge is not important, just make sure stitches are tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Special stitch: crab stitch
Insert hook into st immediately to the right of current sc; yarn over, continue sc as normal.
Pattern notes:
-Doll is crocheted from the top down, beginning with the head and down to the legs. Legs are made by making a round of sc and leaving the rest of the stitches unworked, then going back and making the other leg after the first one is done.
-Hair is worked separate, first by making a hair cap and then attaching strands.
-Arms are worked separate, sewed on after doll is finished.
-Doll is crocheted in spiral rounds.
