This pattern is knitted in the round from the bottom up to the empire line and then split for front and back to be worked separately. Apart from straight knitting it has two different patterns to add interest and to accentuate the design of the garment.
It is possible to make this garment reversible as long as ends are incorporated neatly (spit splicing or felting ends together will achieve this if using the correct type of yarn).
