Katrin Mittens is a pair of unisex mittens perfect for autumn and winter. Katrin Mittens is a pattern inspired by one of the many traditional Faroese designs that are to be found in the book “Faroese Knitting Patterns” (Original title: Føroysk Bindingarmynstur) by Hans M. Debes (1932). The mittens expand in use.

Total length (without ribbing): 18 (19,5) 21 cm
Width: 9 cm
Gauge (after wash and blocking): 34 sts x 33 rows in Fair Isle pattern on 3 mm / U.S. 3 / U.K. 11 needles = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles: 3 mm U.S. 3 U.K. 11 circular needles (at least 60 cm if you use the magic loop technique) or 3 mm U.S. 3 U.K. 11 double pointed needles.
