Kattalin is a summer shawl, made with cotton I had lying around in my stash, left overs from other proyects gathering dust. So If you can gather enough left overs, cook this one! It’s tasty!

The name Kattalin is the basque version of Katherine, as the photos for the shawl were taken in the Santa Catalina Botanic Garden, built around the ruins of a XIIIth century abbey.

Materials: 1 skein of Color A, taupe (Drops cotton merino), 3 skeins of Color B, dark blue (Drops Safran). Or any sock weight yarn (160ms/50gr per skein so 640ms), or any odds bits and ends of sport yarn you have lying around, get wild with the combinations! 4 markers.

Needles: 5mm needles.

Notions: M1 increases, knit, purl, yarn overs, k2tog and ssk decreases, knited on borders.

Kattalin es un chal de verano, hecho de algodón que tenía dando vueltas por el alijo, restos de proyectos, cogiendo polvo. Si tienes suficientes restos, puedes tejerte uno! Queda muy bien.

El nombre Kattalin es la versión en euskera de Catalina, ya que las fotos del chal las hicimos en el Jardín Botánico Santa Catalina, construído en los terrenos de las ruinas de una abadía del s. XIII.

Materiales: 1 madeja de color A, crudo (drops Cotton Merino), 3 madejas de Color B, azul oscuro (Drops Safran). O cualquier lana de calibre sport que tengas dando vueltas, haz el loco con las combinaciones de colores (Necesitarás unos 640ms como mucho) 4 marcadores.

Agujas: 5mm circulares.

Conocimientos: Aumento M1, tejer del derecho, tejer del revés, hebra, disminuciones k2tog y ssk, bordes tejidos.*
