Based on a very expensive designer sweater, I made this for my friend – then realized that the ARMY and others might really, really want to have their own. Here is a blog post with images of Yoongi and his sweater. This recreation isn’t flawless, but it’s the closest I could make, and as far as I know, the only one on the internet at present (at least on Ravelry and Etsy).

Now that Katya has been displaced by the war in Ukraine, this pattern is being released as a fundraiser to help her and her mother while they deal with the displacement. At a time when her mother’s job (and income) is not available, and they’re both in danger of homelessness, I want to do my part to help take care of my friend. Proceeds from this pattern will go to their housing, food, bills, and other necessities – possibly including immigration. (As of this pattern’s publishing, the situation is ongoing.)
