The Kaveri Shawl is worked Top Down and is a beginner friendly shawl pattern by using simple crochet stitches which creates gaps in the shawl to give it a beautiful delicate look

Design
This shawl pattern is a rectangle shawl and as you can tell by the name it is worked top down. This is a filet crochet type of pattern by using basic stitches like double crochet and chain stitches it creates gaps or holes in your work which gives it a great peephole effect. Also I wanted patches of solid as well so I have used single crochet in back loop stitches which is fairly basic.
The Kaveri Shawl is a total beginner crochet shawl pattern and it doesn’t involve much thinking at all, you can easily crochet this whilst watching your favorite tv shows, talking or even listening to podcasts etc.
I have also created a video tutorial for the Flower border
