Tapestry crochet technique gives textural appeal to Kavita’s striking colorwork, evoking dappled sunbeams slanting through forest foliage. Outfit your favorite littles and grownups with a bevy of bold beanies in Peerie’s crisp solids or Loft’s softly heathered shades, cozy from trim sideways-ribbed brim to playful pom-pom top.

Construction
- Ribbing is worked sideways, in turned rows, then the short ends are slip stitched together to form a ring. The body of the hat is worked circularly in extended single crochet, beginning from the top edge of the ribbing to the top of the hat. Decreases are worked to shape the crown of the hat. Tapestry crochet technique is used for the colorwork section, leaving no floats on the inside of the hat.
