Kawung Pullover__ Batik Kawung Inspired Colorwork Pattern

This is the second version of Kawung Pullover. It has a whole different construction, gauge, and finishing, the only same part is just the colorwork pattern. Like the old version, Kawung Pullover_2 is inspired by one of the batik patterns, “Kawung” from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The shape of Kawung itself is generally considered to be inspired by a kawung fruit or known as kolang-kaling (palm fruit) split in half.

This pattern is sold with the kit in my online shop, because the previous one already sold out, I got a lot of requests to make it again. So, here is my answer to sell the better version.

Introduction
This pullover is worked top down. Start by working the back panel and shaping the shoulder together, then work back and forth until the intended length is reached, and end by shaping the armhole. Each front is worked by picking up the sts on each and shaping the neckline together, join each front to work the front panel back and front, end with shaping the armhole. The body is worked by joining the front and back panel together to work in the round until the intended length is reached, then work the colorwork pattern after that and end with a folded hem. The sleeves are worked by picking up the sts along the armhole and work in the round, there’ll be no increase, and finished like the body. Finally, the neckband is picked up on the neckline and finished by folding and bind off it together.
