Kaylie’s Kats potholder pattern is a double-side, stranded knit, cotton potholder. It is named for my daughter, who loves her cats. It is worked in a round on US size 3 DPNs or circulars, if you prefer. The pattern is repeated twice each round to have the design on both sides. This potholder measures roughly 7 inches square and is worked using 2 colors of worsted weight cotton yarn. I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this cotton in taupe and red, but any name brand cotton yarn in worsted weight will work….and of course in colors of your choice. I only used about half of each skein of cotton yarn…so maybe around 60 yards if each color.
