Kedja
Kedja is a simple pattern with an interesting look to it. The only skills required are stockinette, garter stitch, picking up sts and decreasing. The braid is done by hand after all the knitting is done, and there is a photo tutorial in the pattern to guide you.
The braid band is worked first in garter stitch, and then you pick up sts to work the stockinette in the round. The pattern contains 5 pages, where the instructions cover 1 page and the photo tutorial covers 2.
