Keene Mitts
by Sarah Eyre
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern creates a pair of lacy but sturdy fingerless mitts, named after Keene, New Hampshire, where they were finished. The lace pattern resembles tulips! This is a great beginner lace pattern; easy to follow, but interesting enough to be engaging.
I will confess that yardage requirements are very approximated- my dog Hugo ran off with one cuff while it was still on the needles. I managed to salvage the needles, but the cuff was mangled beyond all repair. :( Silly puppy; knitting is not for dogs!
