Sometimes, it can be a real struggle to keep a pen handy. If you’re a girl, it’s either at the bottom of a giant purse, or you don’t carry a purse and have to contend with the fact that for some inexplicable reason, most girls’ clothing comes pocket- free! Since I love wearing ties so much I decided the best way around this pen/no pocket conundrum would be a tie with a pen holder attached.
Knit in a self-striping retro colors, worked from the bottom up, this tie knits up in a flash. You simply need to know how to increase, decrease, and pick up stitches. It’s also a great way to destash some of that extra sock yarn!
