LO QUE NECESITAS SABER PARA TEJER ESTE JERSEY:
Para tejer este jersey es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho y del revés, montar y cerrar puntos, realizar aumentos y reducciones, tejer en circular y conocer la técnica del bordado sobre lana (pero si no la dominas, es perfecto para iniciarse en ella).

CÓMO SE HACE:
Este es un jersey top down, es decir, se empieza tejiendo por el escote, a continuación se teje el canesú, después se teje el cuerpo en punto derecho y finalmente se tejen las mangas. Se realiza de una sola pieza en punto derecho, sin ninguna costura. Una vez acabado el jersey y aprovechando las marcas que dejan los aumentos en el canesú, se bordan las flores.

MUESTRA:
17 puntos y 26 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) en punto jersey, sin bloquear.

HILO:
2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) madejas de Worsted de Tintica Yarns (100% lana merina española superwash, 100 g / 150 m; 3.52 oz / 164 yd) para el color principal y hebras de descarte del mismo grosor o ligeramente más gruesas en otro color para bordar las flores.
Los colores empleados en las fotografías son Mostaza y Mantequilla.

AGUJAS:
Agujas circulares de 5 mm (US 8) con cables de 40 cm (16”) para el escote y 80 cm (32”) para el cuerpo, o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión (sin bloquear).
Para las tallas 0-6, 6-12 meses con cables de 13 cm (5”) y 5 cm (2”) de largo de la aguja.
Agujas de un número menor para tejer el elástico del cuerpo y de las mangas.

OTROS ACCESORIOS:
1 marcador para el inicio de vuelta. Aguja lanera para rematar las hebras.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO KNIT THIS SWEATER:
To knit this sweater you need to know how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off stitches, make increases and decreases, work in the round, and embroider over wool (you do not need to be an expert in wool embroidery, this is a perfect pattern to get started in it).

HOW IT IS DONE:
This sweater is knit top-down, i.e. it is started to knit at the neckline, followed by the yoke, then the body is knit in stockinette stitch and the sleeves are knit at the end. It is worked seamlessly in stockinette stitch, all in one piece. Once you have finished knitting the sweater and using the marks the increases leave at the yoke as guide, you will embroider some flower motifs.

GAUGE:
17 stitches and 26 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in stockinette stitch, without blocking.

YARN:
2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) skeins of Worsted by Tintica Yarns (100% Spanish Superwash Merino Wool, 100 g / 150 m; 3.52 oz / 164 yd) for the main colour and leftover yarns in the same weight or slightly thicker in contrast colour(s) to embroider the flower motifs.
The colourways used in the pictures are Mustard and Butter.

NEEDLES:
5 mm (US 8) circular needles, with a cable of 40 cm (16”) for the neckline and 80 cm (32”) for the body, or the required needle size to obtain gauge (without blocking).
For sizes 0-6, 6-12 months with 13 cm (5”) cable and 5 cm (2”) needle length.
Needles one size smaller to work the ribbing at the bottom of the body and the sleeves.

OTHER NOTIONS:
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round. Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
