A perfect gift idea too ♥
This pretty slouchy hat embellished with a wooden button
and topped with pleats is a perfect accessory to shield you from
the summer sun or warm you a bit on cool days. Worked top
down and in the round, using an easy to memorize lace pattern
it’s a quick and easy to crochet.
Skill level: easy
Pattern is written for sizes:
Toddler, Child and Adult

Finished measurements:
circumference – 20 (20, 22)” / 48 (50, 52) cm slightly streched, by 2 (3, 4)” / 21 (7, 9) cm height;
measurements were taken without blocking
What you will need:
* any sport weight yarn (2 fine), for your reference
I used Katia Austral in eggplant (# 52), (50% merino wool, 50% acrylic), 1.75 oz / 153 yds, (50g / 140 m): approx 71 (76, 82) yds / 150 (160, 170) m
- ¾ ”/ (2cm) decorative bead - 1
- size G / 4 mm and US E / 3.5 mm crochet hooks
- tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- stitch markers – 2
18 sts x 9 rows = 4”(10cm) in dc
Skills Required: ch, sc, sl st, hdc, dc, making the pleats (I explain with photos how to work it).
