Kemble Beanie
Kemble is a simple, everyday hat that uses slip stitches for a faux-stranded colorwork look. Use three colors or more to create a hat that is uniquely yours! It’s a wear-anywhere, non-gendered hat with sizes that fit a range of noggins.

< < < GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS > > >
Gauge (unblocked, slip stitch pattern):
US 8 - 16 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10 cm
Recommended needles:
US 5 (3.75 mm) 16”/40 cm
US 8 (4.75 mm) 16”/40 cm
DPN’s in US 8
or appropriate needles for gauge
(keep in mind when choosing your main/larger needle that due to the slip stitch design, this hat will have minimal stretch in the body portion. You may want to increase your needle sizes if you are a tight knitter, or just to help you make sure your gauge doesn’t get too tight)
Notions: ring stitch marker, scissors, measuring tape & tapestry needle (for ends)
