This pattern is a top down, open front sweater/hoodie for a Ken doll with a zipper added, when complete.

The main body of the sweater is worked first: The hoodie is added afterward. Stitches are picked up at the collar and increases made for the added on hoodie.

The sweater is worked flat with raglan sleeves. To finish the sleeves, they can be worked flat or in the round.

If desired, the pattern can also be used just to make a cardigan.

The pattern shows how to inset an ordinary zipper to the front—no need to purchase a special zipper.
