Kendra’s Swirly Toque was born when I wanted to make a gift for a friend with a lovely hank of handpainted green yarn. The sample in the photo is made with a one of a kind bulky yarn from RhubarbAndHoneyShop on Etsy but you can use any bulky weight yarn to make this.
The swirls come from a combination of slipped and cabled stitches travelling around the body of the hat. And the best part is that you don’t need to be an expert on cables to make this project.
