Kenji’s Bumble was based on a drawing done by my son, Kenji. It was actually the first of Kenji’s drawings I turned into amigurumi as I was learning more difficult techniques.
Kenji knows that bees have 6 legs, but Bumble isn’t any ordinary bee. Kenji has written his own little comic books staring some of the characters I’ve been turning into little soft friends for him. He also actually wrote me his version of a crochet pattern to help me make Bumble.
Gauge doesn’t matter for this pattern. It doesn’t take a significant amount of yarn either. It’s just a bunch of shapes done in the round. I also tell you when to attach parts while you still have access to the inside, making sewing together so much easier!
Bumble is a great beginner amigurumi project with super cute results.
