I designed this scarf to be just long enough to fit under a jacket. I also wanted a scarf that was reversible, so I came up with this reversible cable pattern. This pattern has one large cable in the center with smaller cables on each edge.

This scarf is very easy to make and I think anyone just learning cables (or wants to learn a simple cable) can make this. You just need to know how to knit and purl.

The length of the scarf can be adjusted by adding or subtracting the cable repeats.

Any bulky yarn will work. My scarf was knitted with Lion Brand Heartland Thick and Quick, in Black Canyon.

You will need size 11 US (8mm) needles, and a cable needle.
