The knitting skill level for the bonnet is Easy and there is a link to a video tutorial for the i-cords. The crown shaping can either be worked flat and seamed, or in the round. Instructions are given for both.
The pattern includes traceable full size templates for the embroidery. I suggest tracing the design onto water soluble stabiliser, attaching it to the bonnet and embroidering over.
Video links to the process and all the embroidery stitches used are included in the pattern.
Many of my testers were new to embroidery on knitting, followed my process and achieved beautiful results.
You can also embroider the design freehand if you prefer.
