Keras (Greek for horn) is a long and narrow cowl that features two Staghorn cables that twist beautifully around strips of Stockinette stitch. The cowl is knit in the round from end to end and twisted before the two ends are joined. Simple techniques join with beautiful yarn here to create a striking piece.

Specific yarn requirements:
Anzula Luxury Fibers Cricket (80% Superwash Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere; 250 yds/ 229 m per 114g); 2 skeins in Daffodil
Or, 420 yds/ 385 m of DK weight yarn

Needles:
US 5 (3.75 mm) needles preferred for working a small circumference in the round (e.g. 16”/ 40 cm long circular, dpns, circular long enough for Magic Loop, etc.), or size needed to obtain gauge
Second circular needle or dpns of same size

Gauge:
22 sts & 29 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Stockinette st, blocked
38 sts & 29 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in cable pattern, blocked
Meeting these exact gauges is not crucial, but any major differences will affect the size of the finished cowl as well as yardage required.
