This can be a large rectangular shawl/wrap, or a scarf. Sizing can be altered by altering the number of SC in the foundation row and the number of rows. Using the numbers below and a 5.5 mm (I) hook, this shawl was approximately 86 inches (218 cm) long and 22 inches (53 cm) wide.

Yarn: Any self-striping DK or worsted yarn such as Lion Brand Mandala. Depending on desired size, allow for up to 2 Mandala cakes, or almost 1100 yards. Will also work well with a solid color or a variegated yarn, or with another weight of yarn.

Gauge figures are estimates. Gauge is of no importance with this pattern.
