Keriana the Kererū (Wood Pigeon)
About Keriana:
Keriana the Kererū is part of the New Zealand Wildlife Collection. Keriana is actually on the small side for a Kererū as they are one of the largest pigeon species in the world, growing up to 51 cm long. Keriana is a slightly clumsy bird who absolutely loves to eat large fruit high in the trees (despite their small beak Kererū can eat grapes whole!). With Keriana’s bright feathers she would make a colourful addition to anyone’s home!
Size: ~ 35 x 20 cm

Yarn Recommended:
Note: This pattern uses two strands of yarn crocheted together for most of the Kererū so it is recommended to use a thinner yarn that a size D hook can be used when crocheting 2 strands of that yarn as one.
