Although Singaporean-born, British Columbia, Canada is home to me. Our provincial animal is the Kermode Bear, also known as the Spirit Bear. These unique creatures are cream-coated black bears, making them a particularly special symbol. In a historical time period where we are judged, treated differently, or even hurt for who we are if we aren’t like the majority, it’s important to celebrate our differences and appreciate each other for our unique qualities.

This hooded open-front cardigan is an homage to the great Spirit Bear. Keep on being you.
