This shawl uses a familiar wave pattern, with a difference to give you a beautifully shaped edge.

If you have the kit, available on Etsy I have used shades to evoke the turquoise waters of tropical holidays. Wear it as a shawl to keep the chill away in the evening, or as a scarf in mid winter to remind you of past holidays, and ones to come.

Yarn: 10 x 20 g skeins of Delicious 4 ply 70% superwash bluefaced leicester, 20% silk, 10% cashmere.

Needles: 3.25 mm circular 150 cm or 2 x 100 cm.

Size blocked: The long side of the triangle is 110 cm, the center 60 cm, 130 cm across the top wavy edge.

The pattern uses 10 x 20g skeins
Each colour (except for A) is used first as a ‘foreground’ stripe, then later as a ‘background’ stocking stitch stripe. Colour A starts the shawl in stocking stitch.
When working the background stripes, use each colour until you run out, then move on to the next colour, half way through a row is fine as they will blend in.
This shawl does use almost all of the yarn.
