Keyed Up Shawl
To be “keyed up” is to be nervous or excited.
I am excited to be sharing my second pattern using this Keyhole stitch pattern (and just a little nervous).
*** Pattern is FREE until August 31, 2016 with code GETKEYEDUP***
This light cotton triangle shawl is a fabulous accessory when you want a little neck and shoulder coverage that adds great colour without a lot of bulk
Worked flat, this pattern is easy to get a handle on and after a few rows you may not need to refer to the pattern at all.
I wrote this because I needed to show off every inch of this fabulous Moca Cotton. I love a Canadian yarn so I couldn’t be more thrilled to give the Firefly colourway a stage to shine on!
Monsoon Calamity (Mcpatterns on Etsy) makes this 4 ply cotton in two yardages. The main photo uses a full 540 yard cake. Photos from 295 yard, heathered cake coming soon.
Aug 20 - pictures and dimensions for the smaller shawl have been added, as well as the previously forgotten row counts (to make it easier to substitute yarns)
Aug 21 - had a great question about measurements: the measurements given are for after light blocking. I have not worked this pattern using any other yarns so I can’t speak to the differences substitutions might make.
Can’t wait to see what colourway you choose so please share your progress and tag me on Instagram @thamo_is_craf.t
